Registry Services

The Registry of the Specific Claims Tribunal of Canada delivers administrative services to the Specific Claims Tribunal, participants, and the public across Canada in support of resolving claims fairly and without delay.

More specifically, the Registry is responsible for:

  • Processing of specific claims;
  • Scheduling hearings;
  • Processing warrants, subpoenas, and writs;
  • Case and records management;
  • Provision of services in both official languages;
  • Providing litigants and their counsel with services relating to hearings;
  • Informing litigants about rules of practice, directives and procedures;
  • Maintaining records of all proceedings;
  • Acting as liaison between the judiciary and the legal profession and the public;
  • Providing judges with a wide array of direct support services; and
  • Distributing court judgments, orders, or direction to parties and the public.
